I personally select only premium briar blocks—prized for their exceptional heat resistance, natural moisture-wicking properties, and breathtaking grain that tells its own unique story. Whether it’s fiery flames, intricate birdseyes, or swirling patterns, the wood’s natural character inspires and guides every design. No two Corey James pipes are ever identical.

From the first rough shaping to the final polish, each step is performed by hand in my workshop: precise drilling and hand-turning of the bowl and stem, progressive sanding to a flawless finish, thoughtful staining or rusticating to reveal the briar’s deepest beauty, and meticulous attention to the airway for a consistently smooth, cool, and dry smoke.
